Call for Projects 2024
Starting Monday, February 12, 2024, the ANR launches the first Call for Projects (AAP) for the SPIN PEPR. The primary objective is to invigorate the initial program by incorporating new avenues to optimize its impact and capitalize on opportunities, while remaining faithful to its mission and objectives. Each project will last between 3 and 4 years
The Call for Projects (AAP) will contribute to realizing the emblematic slogan of the SPIN PEPR, which is ‘Spintronic innovations for a frugal, agile, and sustainable digital future.’
To achieve this goal, this first Call for Projects proposes two distinct modes of funding:
- Seven to eight large-scale collaborative projects. These projects should typically involve between 3 and 6 laboratories. The amount of funding will range between 800 k€ and 1 M€
- One to two ‘Young Scientist’ projects, involving a single beneficiary who will be the employer of the project leader. The budget will range between 300 k€ and 400 k€
Specifically, eligible beneficiaries for these funds will be research organizations as well as higher education and research institutions. Companies and foreign institutions can participate as partner establishments, but their participation will not receive direct funding. The total ceiling for the aid allocated for this first Call for Projects amounts to 7.6 million euros, representing half of the budget allocated to AAPs under the SPIN PEPR. A second Call for Projects is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
